Manchester United only have a few more hours to wait before Patrick Dorgu’s transfer is officially announced.
Ruben Amorim is closing in on his second signing of the window after Ayden Heaven’s move was confirmed on Saturday.
Patrick Dorgu’s medical was rescheduled, but the 20-year-old was in Manchester this weekend to finalise his agreement and sign his contract.
Manchester United will pay an initial £25m for Dorgu to Serie A side Lecce, with add-ons potentially taking the agreement to around £31m.
There is a chance that Patrick Dorgu is unveiled to fans at Old Trafford when United face Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon. The Premier League clash has come too early for his debut, but the Danish wing-back is expected to be in attendance.

How long is Patrick Dorgu’s contract at Man United?
The transfer strategy under Ineos has been to sign bright young talents who can develop into superstars in Manchester.
Just a day after signing 18-year-old defender Heaven, United are now set to welcome a 20-year-old Dorgu to Amorim’s first-team squad.
Dorgu has been described as a “machine” with huge potential, and he will have plenty of years to fulfil that potential in Manchester after being handed a long-term deal.
As reported by Laurie Whitwell at The Athletic, Dorgu’s contract is valid until 2030 with an option to extend for a further year.
In terms of salary, Dorgu is set to earn £38,500 per week at United, making him one of the lowest earners in the current first-team squad.
Man United set for hectic end to transfer window
With just one more day to go until the transfer window slams shut, United are still in talks over several deals.
Marcus Rashford is close to joining Aston Villa on a loan deal, and there is a good chance the Red Devils will move quickly to sign a replacement for the 27-year-old.

His replacement could well come from Bayern Munich with United in talks to sign Mathys Tel on loan. The 19-year-old forward is said to be keen on a move to Old Trafford. It would likely be a loan move with a potential buy option.
As well as Rashford, Tyrell Malacia could still leave United after his proposed move to Benfica collapsed. With Dorgu adding strength at left wing-back, the Dutch defender is considered excess to requirements.
