Beating Chelsea in this era was always a big deal, but this game was memorable for the wrong reasons, with two sendings off in the 3-2 win.
There were two red cards for Chelsea which saw United then able to grab a winner.

United beating City 3-2 at the Etihad was massive in the title race as it saw the Red Devils develop a six-point lead.

This game was memorable for all the wrong reasons, with United crashing out of the Champions League on Cristiano Ronaldo’s Old Trafford return.
It saw Nani controversially sent off, a decision which cost United a possible Champions League run.

United’s 20th league title crown was claimed in a 3-0 win against Villa with Robin van Persie scoring a hat-trick.
Manchester United 2-1 Swansea City
United’s 2-1 win over Swansea was memorable as it was the day that Sir Alex said goodbye to Old Trafford with Premier League title celebrations also on show.
It was a very emotional day and one which lives fresh in the minds of United fans.
West Brom 5-5 Manchester United
This was Sir Alex’s last game at United and it was an absolute blockbuster 5-5 draw away to West Brom.
The game announced Romelu Lukaku as a top striker years before he joined United, and it is a game which must have been exceptional for the neutral.
