Manchester United are expecting a busy final weekend of the transfer window.
It promises to be a busy weekend for Manchester United as the transfer deadline draws near.
While there is plenty of action on the pitch, including Saturday’s U18 Manchester derby, it is off the field that looks likely to produce fireworks.
Patrick Dorgu is in Manchester on Saturday, ahead of completing his paperwork and medical. Dorgu gave a seven word message upon arriving at the airport in Lecce, which revealed how he is feeling about the move.
However, Dorgu won’t be the only player to arrive. United have now confirmed the signing of Ayden Heaven from Arsenal.

Jason Wilcox excited by Ayden Heaven signing
On Saturday morning, United announced the signing of Heaven from Arsenal.
In the announcement, Heaven spoke of his pride to be joining United and his aspirations for the move.
“I am incredibly proud to join Manchester United. I’m grateful to everyone who helped make this dream a reality.
“There is so much that I want to achieve in the game, I’ll be giving everything to continue my development and become the best player that I can be.”
Continuing, the club included quotes from technical director Jason Wilcox, who waxed lyrical about the signing of the talented defender.
“We are delighted that Ayden has joined Manchester United. He is already an extremely talented defender who is ready to join our first-team squad in order to maximise his development.
“This club has a phenomenal track record of supporting young players and we believe that Ayden is in the perfect place to reach his excellent potential.”
Heaven bids farewell to Arsenal supporters
The deal is now done, and United are off the board for additions this window. But before the deal was even confirmed, Heaven took to Instagram with a message to Arsenal fans.
“As the time has come for me to move on, I wanted to say how grateful I am to the good people at Arsenal who supported me during my time with the club.
“As a North London boy, I lived the dream of training and playing at Hale End and London Colney, as well as making my professional debut in the League Cup.
“A big thank you too to Arsenal fans.”
What number Heaven will wear for United
Wilcox confirming Heaven is a part of the first team is no shock, and now he has got his first-team squad number.
United have confirmed Heaven will be wearing the No.26 going forward in a series of photos shared from his unveiling at Old Trafford.
Heaven looks the part, and we imagine he will make his debut next Friday against Leicester City.
This kind of signing is one which United fans should be very excited by and fits perfectly into what Ineos want.
