Jadon Sancho is officially a Manchester United player. We love to see it.
Last year Borussia Dortmund made life tricky for United, demanding more than £100 million for the player at the height of the pandemic.
United did not pay up, and Dortmund famously taunted United after Sancho returned to pre-season training with them.
Well, now it is time for United to get their own back. The club’s social media admin did not miss a trick, and returned the message in kind following Sancho’s announcement as a Red Devils player.
United paid £73 million for Sancho, a fee which could turn out to be a bargain for a player of his quality.
It has been a long wait, and now he is finally a United player, you cannot blame United for milking it a little.
Dortmund had a message of their own, thanking Sancho for his contribution.
