Manchester United remain keen to sign a new left-winger this summer transfer window, with Bazoumana Toure being considered.
One of the key positions Manchester United wants to strengthen this summer is left-wing and Hoffenheim’s Bazoumana Toure is a player who has caught the eye.
The 20-year-old Ivorian had a breakout season in the Bundesliga, scoring five and assisting seven for the fifth-best team in Germany.
United have been linked with Toure continuously in the lead-up to this summer, as a potentially cheaper left-wing option. Now, there has been an update.

Manchester United pushing intensely for Bazoumana Toure
With United’s £250m budget likely to be spent mostly on midfield, the left wing signing feels more likely to be on the cheaper side.
Reports have suggested United have been planning a move for £30m valued Toure, now this has advanced.
According to BILD, Toure has United, Brentford, and Newcastle all chasing his signature, with the teams all ‘intensely competing’.
This shows that the signing wouldn’t be one that United are expecting to be an immediate star, and he would likely just be an option behind Matheus Cunha or Patrick Dorgu.
Signing Toure for the price cited is a bargain, though, and he brings something United have really been lacking in recent seasons. Toure would be that direct, quick, and tricky winger to hold width and get crosses in for Benjamin Sesko.
Could be a pretty pivotal part of the squad.

Amad could be key for United signing Toure
Signing Toure could be a masterstroke, and the deal feels like one Christopher Vivell would have played a key role in arranging, which gives us confidence that it is a smart move.
But the competition is fierce, and United should be drawing on Amad to help get the deal done.
Amad is in the Ivory Coast squad with Toure and so could easily be playing agent in convincing his compatriot to join him in Manchester.
This could be decisive for United in doing a deal, but we won’t know until after the Ivory Coast are finished with their World Cup campaign.
