It is unbelievable to have Cristiano Ronaldo back after 12 years away.
As excitement builds ahead of his second debut, Ronaldo insists he is not back to be on a nostalgia tour.
Speaking to the club website, Ronaldo says his focus is on winning.
In a new interview, Ronaldo says: “I am not here for vacation. As I told you, before was good, winning important things and I wore the shirt before many years ago, but I am here to win again.
“I am capable, me and my team-mates. I am ready to go, I am ready to go.
“It is a good chance for me, for the supporters, for the club, to get one step ahead. I am ready and I think I will be a huge thing in the next three or four years.”

Fire still burning
Ronaldo’s desire to win is as strong as ever. This is a player who knows that there is more greatness left to be achieved.
He learned his relentless passion to win under the tutelage of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ronaldo is confident in his own ability, as he should be after finishing as top scorer at Euro 2020 and in Serie A last season.
There are numerous milestones left to hit, including beating Lionel Messi to scoring 800 career goals.
It is great to hear Ronaldo’s comments, and his belief in his teammates. He knows he is joining a strong team with potential to win silverware.
He is going to be in a stronger position than he was at Juventus last season, surrounded by better players and real depth, Ronaldo won’t have to do too much on his own.
The other interesting aspect of Ronaldo’s comments was the time frame. He said ‘three or four years’, and his contract is two years with an option of a third.
Clearly Ronaldo intends on sticking around at United for a long while yet and playing for many years to come. We are excited for the club to be blessed with his presence once again.
