Manchester United academy graduate Alejandro Garnacho is being linked with Aston Villa just one year after joining Chelsea.

Alejandro Garnacho’s Manchester United exit was an ugly one. The Carrington graduate lashed out at Ruben Amorim following the Europa League final and was subsequently sold to Chelsea.

United earned £40m from Garnacho’s sale to Stamford Bridge, and fans were happy to see the back of the Argentine winger. Garnacho’s swipes at United proved why.

Now, Chelsea want to sell Garnacho just one year after signing him. According to David Ornstein, Aston Villa are discussing a potential deal.

Man United can profit from Alejandro Garnacho sale

Ornstein’s report claims that Villa are discussing a loan deal for Garnacho with a conditional buy obligation.

If the buy conditions are met and Garnacho does make a permanent move, then United are in line to profit from their sell-on clause.

United have a 10% sell-on clause for Garnacho attached to their Chelsea deal.

According to BBC, Chelsea want £43m for Garnacho. If that is the fee paid by Aston Villa, then United are in line for a £4m payout.

However, United will likely have to wait until next summer if Garnacho’s move is an initial loan to Villa Park.
