How Marcus Rashford feels about Jadon Sancho’s petty ‘freedom’ dig at Man United

Marcus Rashford chose not to respond to the comment left by fellow Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho.

There are plenty of similarities between the way Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho departed Manchester United. Both players are currently out on loan to Aston Villa and Chelsea respectively and could join those clubs permanently.

The latter has no choice – Chelsea will pay £23m to sign Sancho permanently. Villa have a £40m buy option attached to Rashford.

Rashford and Sancho both fell out of favour at United after their attitude in training was criticised. Ruben Amorim wanted more from Rashford at Carrington and Erik ten Hag cited Sancho’s poor training as the reason he was dropped from the squad.

There is a big difference in how the players have behaved though. Rashford has continued to support his teammates, whereas Sancho aimed a petty dig at United.

Marcus Rashford’s stance on Jadon Sancho’s ‘freedom’ dig

After Rashford made his Villa debut against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon, he took to Instagram to thank the support from his new club.

In the comment section, Sancho replied “Freedom”, which triggered an angry response from United fans.

Sancho has failed to take responsibility of his failed time at United and he has now dragged Rashford into his mess.

According to the Daily Mail, though, sources close to Rashford indicated that he didn’t appreciate Sancho’s comment.

Rashford is looking to get his career back on track and did not want to be involved in Sancho’s “beef” with the club.

Jadon Sancho is embarrassing himself

United fans were extremely excited by the prospect of Sancho linking up with Rashford at Old Trafford, but his recent actions prove he was destined to fail.

Sancho is now struggling at Chelsea, but he appears more worried about taking swipes at United whenever possible.

During his time in Manchester, Sancho failed to outscore Harry Maguire, so this idea of him being trapped at the club is simply ludicrous.

He failed to perform and took the easy way out by publicly criticising Ten Hag and painting himself as a “scapegoat”.

Incredibly, Sancho also believed he was a scapegoat at Dortmund. United fans will be pleased to see the back of him.
