Jadon Sancho has just exposed one major flaw which proves he was destined to fail at Man United

Jadon Sancho left Manchester United on extremely bitter terms as he completed his loan move to Chelsea in the summer.

After years of chasing him at Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United fans were delighted when a £73m deal was agreed for Jadon Sancho in 2021.

However, three years later he left the club after a public fall-out with Erik ten Hag. Jadon Sancho made 83 appearances for United and scored just 12 goals.

Sancho joined Chelsea on loan this summer with an obligation to buy for £23m in the summer. Players who leave United tend to thrive – annoyingly – but Sancho’s honeymoon period at Stamford Bridge is already coming to an end.

In his latest match against Brighton, United fans pointed out how poor Sancho was with some supporters suggesting the Red Devils had “scammed” Chelsea.

Jadon Sancho couldn’t resist bitter Marcus Rashford reply

After Marcus Rashford’s debut at Aston Villa on Sunday evening, Sancho aimed a petty dig at United, replying “freedom” to the on-loan United star’s Instagram post.

In similar fashion to Sancho, Rashford had been banished from the first team at United and faced criticism over his attitude in training before he secured a late move to Villa.

However, while Sancho’s fall-out with Erik ten Hag went public, Rashford’s dispute with Ruben Amorim was thankfully kept more in-house.

When Sancho was dropped by Ten Hag for a match against Arsenal, all the Dutchman said was “his performances in training” was the reason behind the decision.

However, Sancho lashed out on social media, claiming he had been made “a scapegoat for a long time” at United.

“Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training well this week,” Sancho’s post read.

Jadon Sancho refuses to take responsibility

According to The Athletic, Ten Hag had become “increasingly exasperated with Sancho’s punctuality” and his “sluggishness in training” before deciding to drop him for the Arsenal match.

The same report claims Sancho’s teammates at United also grew frustrated at his attitude.

Time has proven that Sancho was wrong to blame Ten Hag for his United woes – frankly, it’s hard to pick out one performance in a United shirt where Sancho impressed and justified his transfer fee.

Sancho’s latest dig at the club (via Rashford’s comment section) exposes his biggest flaw – not being able to take responsibility.

Sancho refused to apologise to Ten Hag despite being completely out of order with his social media post. He ended up leaving the club on extremely bitter terms.

During his time in Germany, Sancho also accused Dortmund of making him a “scapegoat” despite the Bundesliga club putting their faith in him as a youngster.

There seems to be a recurring theme here. When things go wrong, it’s apparently the club’s fault and not his.

Sancho only has himself to blame for flopping at United – and it seems it is only a matter of time until history repeats itself at Chelsea.
