Manchester United caught everybody off guard by holding Cristiano Ronaldo’s first training session as early as Tuesday.
Ronaldo was pictured with his new teammates for the first time on a hot day at Carrington.
Ronaldo seemed to enjoy it, posting a message on social media after the session.
He wrote a simple message, ‘Good vibes’, showing that he enjoyed getting out there with his new teammates.
Ronaldo was taking part in his first training session at Manchester United since 2009.
He arrived in Manchester last Thursday after being excused from international duty after picking up a booking, earning a suspension.
It seemed a little too convenient, not that we are complaining. His Portugal teammates are in action away at Azerbaijan tonight.
Ronaldo’s return had a particularly elated response from countryman Diogo Dalot, who was thrilled to see him at training.
The superstar was also joined by Jadon Sancho, who left the England squad early after a minor injury, and was passed fit to rejoin his club teammates.
This is just the start for Ronaldo, who was pictured meeting manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer earlier in the day.
