There has been a wave of support for Marcus Rashford after his missed penalty for England.Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes is the latest player to commend Rashford as and ‘example’ other people in all walks of life should look to follow.
Fernandes’ message came in response to Rashford’s long note saying sorry for his missed penalty.
The United star was one of three England players to miss in the decisive shootout.

England were defeated by Italy 3-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw after extra time.
Rashford has seen the sporting world come to rally around him since.
Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay and David de Gea each sent messages of support, as did Mason Greenwood, Eric Bailly and Anthony Martial among others. NFL stars and musicians also reached out to Rashford too.

The remarkable support will mean so much to Rashford, 23, who has contributed so much to football and society already and has so much more left to give.
