Manchester United’s pre-season tour has come to an end with a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in South Carolina.
Erik ten Hag and co have been over in the United States of late, with mixed results from this pre-season trip.
Manchester United lost 2-1 to Arsenal but won a pre-organised penalty shootout between the two sides after the final whistle.
Real Betis were then beaten 3-2 before United lost 3-0 at the hands of Liverpool in the early hours of Sunday morning.
United will now return to England and the focus turns to the Community Shield clash against Manchester City.
The Premier League kick-off is just around the corner too and United have plenty of business to do in the coming weeks.

Erik ten Hag on Ineos
United have so far secured two signings for Ten Hag’s first-team picture.
Striker Joshua Zirkzee has arrived from Bologna whilst United secured a major coup by signing French wonderkid Leny Yoro from Lille.
The problem there is that Zirkzee has yet to feature having been involved deep into Euro 2024 and Yoro is set to miss three months of action with a metatarsal injury.
United need more additions and Ineos will be keen to end their first summer transfer window on a high.
Dan Ashworth, Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell will be working hard to bring more new signings to Old Trafford before the window ends.
Ten Hag has now told Sky Sports that Ineos have already shown they are ‘really eager’ to get deals done.
The Dutchman seems to be encouraged by ‘this new leadership team’ at United and believes they are ‘on it’ in terms of more signings.
Ten Hag added that he can’t say whether any deals are imminent but is sure that Ineos will move forward with potential additions soon.
“We are always looking and especially, we have seen this new leadership team is really eager to do business, to make deals,” said Ten Hag. “They are on it, but if the timing is there, if the opportunities are there, I don’t know, I can’t say in this moment but I’m sure when they are there, they will go forward,” he added.
Deals Manchester United want in the final month
The most imminent addition for United is a teenage striker with Chido Obi-Martin set to sign after leaving Arsenal.
A medical is imminent for Obi-Martin with the 16-year-old ready to finalise his move to Old Trafford.
United also want Noussair Mazraoui and the Bayern Munich defender is closing in on a move too.
The full back is expected to join United ‘soon’, reuniting with his former Ajax boss Ten Hag in the process.
Manuel Ugarte has agreed personal terms with United viewing him as an ideal addition in midfield.
The move for Ugarte has stalled of late though and United have a lot of work to do in order to secure his signature.
Then there is Matthijs de Ligt with the Dutchman waiting to join United having agreed personal terms.
Ineos may struggle to get all of those deals done without some sales, so we could see a month of wheeling and dealing.
