Manchester United are closing in on an exciting addition as Ineos continue to target top young talents at Old Trafford.
This has already been a decent summer for Manchester United, even if one recent blow has dealt Erik ten Hag a major blow.
Joshua Zirkzee has arrived from Bologna, handing United another striker to support the now-injured Rasmus Hojlund.
Joining Hojlund on the treatment table is new signing Leny Yoro with the French defender nursing a metatarsal problem.
Yoro is set to miss three months of action but United fans should still be excited by the focus on young players with potential.
Ineos are leading their first summer transfer window at Old Trafford and are clearly moving to bring exciting talents to the club.

Chido Obi-Martin to Manchester United latest
United continue to target prospects for the future and one player on the wish list is Chido Obi-Martin.
Reports in July suggested that United were ‘really pushing’ to sign Obi-Martin.
Obi-Martin has now left Arsenal having confirmed his decision to leave the club just a few days ago.
The 16-year-old striker has been turning heads with his astonishing displays for Arsenal’s Under-18’s but will now be on the move.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Obi-Martin has decided to join United despite strong interest from elsewhere.
Sky Sports now report that United have agreed the deal and Obi-Martin will have a medical ‘in the coming days’.
It’s stated that Obi-Martin has actually snubbed ‘superior offers’ from German clubs in order to join United.
Obi-Martin had doubts over his pathway into senior action at Arsenal and has decided to leave.
United now expect to have this deal wrapped up within days with Obi-Martin set to put the finishing touches on his move.
How Manchester United convinced Obi-Martin
Yoro was a major coup given Real Madrid’s interest in him, but the raid for Obi-Martin has really taken everybody aback.
The Danish forward was being touted as Arsenal’s next big thing but United – who are coming off a tricky season – have managed to convince him.
So just how did United pull this one off?
Firstly, United tapped into Obi-Martin’s concerns about his first-team pathway at Arsenal.
United allegedly see Obi-Martin as the third-choice striker behind Hojlund and Zirkzee, seemingly believing that he could make an impact around the first team this season.
That is bold from United but that just goes to show how highly Obi-Martin is rated.
Then there is the Ruud van Nistelrooy factor.
The Dutchman is back at United as a coach and brings a reputation as one of the finest strikers of his generation.
Any young striker should relish the chance to learn under Van Nistelrooy and reports suggest that he played a ‘key’ role in landing Obi-Martin.
Van Nistelrooy displayed a detailed development plan and Obi-Martin has now decided that this is the move for him.
Obi-Martin is only 16 and there is a long road ahead of him, but United fans will be understandably excited about this one.
