Shocking news coming out tonight as Jadon Sancho takes to social media to call out Erik ten Hag following his comments surrounding his absence in the squad versus Arsenal.
Sancho was surprisingly not even on the bench against the Gunners in the 3-1 loss, which left much speculation as to where the winger was on the night.
According to The Athletic who quoted Erik ten Hag, the reason why Sancho was dropped was down to his performance was poor in training, hence why they didn’t select him.
This was shocking enough, but even more chaos has ensued on socials as the man himself responded to the Dutchman’s comments.

Sancho calls out Erik ten Hag
Sancho took to Twitter to respond to the United boss’s comments.
The post reads:
“Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training well this week.
“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!
MORE UNITED STORIES
“All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and am grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge.
“I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”
This will rock the club
As if Manchester United needed any more drama – they’re likely going to get it. This was slightly unprofessional by Sancho and was obviously very reactionary.
It doesn’t create a good dynamic between the player and the manager whatsoever.
Let’s see how things pan out from here, but this isn’t good news for Sancho or United.
