Manchester United and Chelsea have agreed a deal for Jadon Sancho to move to Chelsea on loan.
Jadon Sancho is set to clinch a loan move to Chelsea, Fabrizio Romano reports.
Romano reports on X: “Jadon Sancho to Chelsea, here we go! Loan deal with obligation to buy clause agreed between the clubs.
“Sancho already said yes as he wanted Chelsea move, deal now agreed between all parties.
“Man United accepted the proposal and deal is now set to be signed.”
Manchester United moving Sancho out
Jadon Sancho grew up as a Chelsea supporter and his move to Stamford Bridge gives him a fresh start.
He has not featured in either of Manchester United’s opening two games of the season, failing to even make the bench.
The key for United was getting Chelsea to commit to an obligation clause in the deal. The full terms are yet to become clear.
The Athletic also report United and Chelsea are working hard to complete the deal in time for the transfer deadline, with personal terms all agreed.

Sancho a major disappointment
Jadon Sancho became one of Manchester United’s most expensive ever signings when he joined from Borussia Dortmund.
He has failed to live up to expectations. While there has been scrutiny on his spell under Erik ten Hag, Sancho also struggled under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.
Last season Sancho spent time on loan at Borussia Dortmund – but the German side chose not to try and sign him permanently.
Sancho would be ineligible to feature against United this season per conditions of the loan deal.
