Jadon Sancho came off the bench with Manchester United looking for a winner against Southampton.
The new signing was unable to help United get the goal needed, with United settling for a 1-1 draw.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke about Sancho after the game, who he brought on for Anthony Martial in the 58th minute.
Solskjaer explained to the club website he was pleased with Sancho’s contribution, before the whole team faded.
The United boss said: “When Jadon [Sancho] came on, I thought he looked really sharp for the first 10-15 minutes, but the whole team fell away a bit and the last 15 minutes we didn’t play particularly well.”

How did Sancho fare?
Sancho managed 23 touches during his time on the pitch, which compared favourably to Anthony Martial, just 13.
The winger created one goalscoring chance and made one successful dribble.
He looked lively and was fluid in terms of position, playing out on the right but also drifting over to the left side of the penalty area to try and make things happen.
Sancho is still building up his fitness and will hope he has done enough to start next week away at Wolves.
He is certainly in with a chance, although Solskjaer will also consider whether or not to bring in Dan James, who was efficient in United’s opening game of the season and did not feature yesterday.
