Manchester United fans instantly responded to what they saw from Shea Lacey’s display during the pre-season friendly match against Rosenborg on Friday evening.
Michael Carrick oversaw the start of Manchester United’s pre-season tour last Saturday and the Red Devils fell to a defeat at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
Wrexham defeated Man Utd 1-0 in Finland after Sam Smith scored the difference-maker in the first half of the Red Devils’ first match in this summer’s pre-season.
Following Man Utd’s encounter against Wrexham, Michael Carrick and Co travelled to Norway and visited the Lerkendal Stadion to face Rosenborg in Trondheim.

Shea Lacey came off the bench in the second half for Man Utd’s opening match of the pre-season tour, but the Red Devils talent was handed a start this time around.
The 19-year-old winger rewarded Michael Carrick’s faith in him after the Manchester United youth academy product broke the deadlock for the Red Devils in the first half.
Posting on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, United fans raved about Lacey’s potential to have a breakout season at Old Trafford under Carrick.
