Aliou Traore has been unveiled as a Parma player after clinching his move to the Serie B club.

Traore was released by Manchester United in June after three years in the academy at Old Trafford.

Posting on Instgaram with the Parma shirt, Traore said it was ‘time to work harder than ever’.

The 20-year-old’s move was welcomed by several of his former Manchester United teammates.

Mason Greenwood, Teden Mengi and Hannibal Mejbri were among the players to congratulate Traore on the move.

Hannibal’s message translated as, ‘It is now’, urging Traore to seize the moment at his new club.

Parma are in Serie B and looking to rebuild after finishing bottom of Serie A last season.

Traore showed promise at Manchester United but lost momentum, especially after an underwhelming loan spell at Caen last season.

Now he has a chance to reset and try and make a name for himself in Italian football.

He is the seventh of eight players released by United to find a new club this summer.
