Andrey Santos was immediately on the radar of Manchester United fans after the former Chelsea star made his first appearance for the club against Wrexham.
The 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder linked up with his Manchester United teammates at the Carrington training complex last week for the start of pre-season duties.
Andrey Santos arrived at Old Trafford earlier this month after the Red Devils agreed a stunning deal worth £50m to sign him from Premier League side Chelsea.
The Brazil international, who missed this summer’s World Cup, was immediately handed his first start for Man Utd in the Wrexham encounter on Saturday.

Man Utd fans immediately react to what Andrey Santos showed against Wrexham at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium
Andrey Santos took his place in the starting XI for the pre-season clash at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium and Manchester United fans had a lot to say about him.

One Man Utd fan said: “Andrey Santos [is] controlling the midfield like he’s been at Manchester United for years.”
Someone else tweeted: “Andrey Santos looks decent. Reads the game well, good positioning, always quick to play forward and knows how to quench the fire.”
“I think Andrey Santos looks very positive. Playable, quick forward passes and alert in defensive actions,” a third X user posted.
Another added: “Andrey Santos can play. I really like how his first thought is to constantly break [the] lines with his [passing].”
“Andrey Santos [is] impressing me with [this] defensive work,” somebody else commented.
While a sixth wrote: “Been very impressed with Andrey Santos so far.”

Andrey Santos makes a strong and steady start to life for Man Utd in the first half against Wrexham
Santos did not light up the world in the first half of the Red Devils’ match, but that is not the point of pre-season or the expectation from the Brazilian right now.
However, the Brazil international looked comfortable in the midfield under Michael Carrick’s direction and Santos’ defensive work rate was strong against Wrexham.
Not only did Santos step in defensively when he was needed to for the Red Devils, but the former Blues ace was actively trying to push the ball forward for Man Utd.
The immediate response from Man Utd fans over what they saw from Santos at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium is a solid starting point for the Brazilian to further develop.
