Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro both singled out different strengths that Manchester United and England star Kobbie Mainoo holds in his midfield arsenal at Old Trafford.
Kobbie Mainoo has enjoyed a stunning resurgence at Old Trafford in the second half of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign after Ruben Amorim was sacked.
Ruben Amorim’s exit as Manchester United manager in January paved the way for Mainoo to climb back into the starting XI under interim boss Michael Carrick.
Mainoo has been a key pick under Michael Carrick and the 21-year-old midfielder has featured in all but one Premier League match under the United legend.

Man Utd’s official club media shared a TikTok video of different key Red Devils players revealing what they enjoyed the most about Mainoo’s playing style.

Man Utd confirmed that Mainoo will remain at Old Trafford for the foreseeable future after the England international inked a new long-term deal with the Red Devils.
Mainoo’s contract had been set to expire in 2027 and the Three Lions midfielder’s brand-new deal will now keep him at the Premier League club until 2031.
Casemiro, who is set to leave Old Trafford in the summer, admitted that he has been in awe at Mainoo’s desire to collect the ball after playing alongside him.
“I love this guy. He wants the ball every time,” he said.
Mainoo, who was linked with Serie A side Napoli in the past, had his United future plunged into doubt after he had fallen down the pecking order under Ruben Amorim.
