Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a message to say thank you to Manchester United supporters.

Ronaldo made his second Manchester United debut at the weekend, and it was magnificent.

The Portuguese superstar netted twice in a 4-1 win over Newcastle and looked like he has never been away.

Now on the eve of Manchester United’s Champions League campaign kicking off, Ronaldo has said thank you.

Speaking about the Old Trafford reception and the welcome he has received from his new teammates, Ronaldo described it as amazing.

He says he will to everything possible to keep the feeling among the fanbase as excited as it is right now, while adding his focus is now turning to the Champions League.

Ronaldo’s message was welcomed by former teammate Patrice Evra, who thanked him for the impact he has already had on Manchester United.

Evra hailed Ronaldo for bringing back the fear factor to the club for opposing teams.

Ronaldo is expected to lead the line for United against Young Boys tomorrow night. There is little chance of rotation with Edinson Cavani left behind as he is still dealing with an injury.
