Manchester United youngster Dylan Levitt has made a move to Dundee United, with the move first reported by the Daily Record.
This is a positive development for Levitt, who impressed for Manchester United in early pre-season matches.
However the youngster is not close to United’s very competitive first team and started as captain for the under-23s last Sunday.

A chance Levitt needs to seize
Levitt needs a successful loan to spark his Red Devils career into life, and to brighten his own prospects if he is eventually cut loose.
The midfielder had a tough spell on loan at Charlton Athletic last season with his year long deal cut short in January after he failed to win a regular place in the starting XI.
Levitt played in Croatia during the second half of last season with NK Istra.
This was enough to earn him a spot in Wales’ Euro 2020 squad, and he made one appearance at the tournament as a substitute.
Levitt, 20, is a strong passer of the ball who has impressed in previous seasons for United’s academy.
He made his Manchester United debut against Astana in 2019 but has not played a competitive match since.
Levitt leaving would open up spots in United’s under-23 side, with exciting teenager Isak Hansen-Aaroen potentially among those who would benefit.
Teammate Reece Devine has already made the loan to the Scottish Premiership, joining St Johnstone in July.

UPDATE: Dundee United have now confirmed this deal has been completed.
Boss Tam Courts said: “Dylan is a versatile midfielder who enjoys controlling games and producing assists for attacking players. Already a Welsh international, and part of their recent Euros squad, he’s a young player with ambitions to play at the top level.
“I believe that he’s capable of playing with all of our existing midfielders, but he brings something different, which will give us better options and more flexibility for the season ahead.”
