Manchester United have now finally agreed a deal to sign Ederson from Atalanta, meaning the transfer focus can officially be switched to who is next.
The past couple of weeks have seen Manchester United progress a deal to sign the Brazilian midfielder, Ederson, from Atalanta.
Now, after plenty of talks, United have agreed a £34.5m deal to sign the 26-year-old, and he will become the first signing of the Michael Carrick era at the club.
But this is just the beginning for United this summer, with plenty of work to do. Here are the three most likely signings to be arrival number two at Old Trafford.
What is your INSTANT REACTION to Manchester United’s deal for Ederson?

Mateus Fernandes
With one midfield addition done, United look set to target Mateus Fernandes next as potentially the marquee midfielder.
West Ham aren’t going to give a massive discount on Fernandes, but United are planning to test their resolve with an offer of around £50m for the Portuguese sensation.
Fernandes isn’t in the World Cup squad, and therefore, a deal could progress quickly in the coming weeks if West Ham don’t price him out.
This feels like the most likely next arrival, but it could be that Fernandes has to push for the deal to convince West Ham to let him go for a realistic fee.
The 21-year-old could form a perfect partnership with Kobbie Mainoo in midfield, potentially for the next decade or even longer.
Now the Ederson deal is agreed… WHO SHOULD BE MAN UTD’S NEXT TARGET?
Let us know who should be signing number two…
Lewis Hall
While the midfield is priority number one, United are making excellent progress in that position, and following this, Lewis Hall could emerge as a tremendous left-back option.
Hall would be a perfect Luke Shaw successor, and United have learned Newcastle want upwards of £50m to let him go this summer.
United have been really impressed by Hall with his style, profile, and qualities, all contributing to this interest from Ineos.
It would be a dream signing, and quietly, it seems to be moving forward every day.
There is a link between Hall and Christopher Vivell, as he helped to sell him to Newcastle a couple of years ago from Chelsea.
Hall, as Shaw’s competition for a year, would see him learn a lot and develop into an even better player than he currently is.
What is a fair price to pay to sign Lewis Hall?
Do you want Manchester United to pursue a deal?
Alex Scott
United have been linked with so many midfielders already this summer, and a third addition in the position is yet to have a top target. But Alex Scott looks best placed right now.
Recent reports indicate that United have made an enquiry over Scott after the prospect of a new contract at Bournemouth has seemingly been taken off the table.
Scott could be an excellent option for United, both homegrown and a truly great talent. United scouts have raved about Scott, and therefore, perhaps this is midfielder number three.
While not as undeniable a talent as others, Scott has been gradually getting better and better for Bournemouth, and as probably the second choice behind Mainoo, United couldn’t do much better.
He also has levels left to develop, and it could see him end up a sensation in midfield for United.
