Manchester United are set to complete a deal to sign wonderkid striker Chido Obi-Martin.
Just over 24 hours since Chido Obi-Martin confirmed his decision to leave Arsenal, the striker has decided to join Manchester United.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who says the teenage striker has ‘just accepted’ an offer from the Red Devils.
Obi-Martin had hinted he wanted to join United, liking social media posts talking up a move to the Red Devils.

Chido Obi-Martin to sign with Manchester United
Arsenal fans have been left upset by the loss of their best young striker prospect, who looked like a certainty to reach their first team.
Chido Obi-Martin believes Manchester United are a better bet for his development, joining the team which won an under-18s treble last season.
Fabrizio Romano has posted on X that Obi-Martin’s mind is made up, and crucially, he insists a move was not about the money.
He claims the young forward, 16, rejected higher salary offers from Bundesliga clubs, in favour of Manchester United.
He posted: “Chido Obi Martin to Man United, here we go!
“Talented striker leaves Arsenal and he’s just accepted Man Utd proposal.
“Pathway key for Chido who’s turned down higher bids from Germany to sign for Man United. Project convinced 2007 born top talent to accept.”
How the Chido Obi-Martin to Manchester United deal unfolded
Chido Obi-Martin scored a staggering 32 goals in 19 games for Arsenal’s under-18s side last season.
He is a Denmark youth international who has gone on record expressing his admiration for Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund.
Earlier in July, it was revealed Obi-Martin had visited Manchester United’s Carrington training ground, amid his dissatisfaction at Arsenal.
Arsenal then left him off their list of scholars for the coming season, admitting defeat in their efforts to keep him.
Manchester United technical director Jason Wilcox has been credited wth a key role in the move.
Obi-Martin joins a talented pool of young Manchester United strikers, and it would not be a surprise to see him fast-tracked into the first team.
The deal is awaiting confirmation, and there is a chance it takes a few weeks for paperwork to be tied up, due to his age, but it appears the Danish wonderkid is heading to Old Trafford.
