Manchester United have added another exciting forward to their attacking roster, following the signing of former Arsenal youngster Chido Obi.
Manchester United have a rich club history when it comes to breading the next generation of world-class strikers, with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo both having learned their trade at Old Trafford.

Who is new Chido Obi?
Obi is an exciting teenager, who made his name within the Arsenal youth setup. He was with the Gunners since the age of fourteen. He progressed through the youth levels rapidly, shooting to prominence after he scored 10 goals in a single game against Liverpool’s youth side (U16s).
At just 15-years-old, Obi was invited by Mikel Arteta to train with the Arsenal first team in November 2023, as reported by Metro.
When and where was Chido Obi born?
Obi was born on November 29th, 2007, in a town in Denmark called Glostrup, near Copenhagen. He has a Danish mother and a Nigerian father.
What international team does Chido Obi play for?
Due to his family heritage, Chido Obi is eligible to play for a number of countries including Denmark, Nigeria, and England.
So far, the teenager has made 18 appearances for Denmark’s under-17 side, scoring eleven goals. He has also featured twice for England at under-16 level, making two appearances.
He is still yet to be capped at senior international level though, meaning his options remain open.

Chido Obi made his debut for Manchester United as a substitute in a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, after replacing Brazilian veteran Casemiro in stoppage time to become the club’s 252nd Academy graduate.
The young forward also became the eighth Dane to make an appearance for Manchester United’s first-team.
