Manchester United have a new striker with Joshua Zirkzee completing his move to the Red Devils.
A week ago the Dutch press reported Joshua Zirkzee would become a Manchester United player once the Netherlands involvement at Euro 2024 was over.
England defeated Zirkzee’s Netherlands last week, with United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo seen embracing Zirkzee at full-time.
And within days, Zirkzee has been confirmed as a Manchester United player, with the deal agreed, medical completed, and player unveiled.

Xavi Simons reacts to Joshua Zirkzee move
Joshua Zirkzee’s move to Manchester United has been completed, with the forward unveiled on Sunday afternoon.
Sporting director Dan Ashworth hailed Zirkzee’s world class potential, while Zirkzee expressed his excitement at clinching the biggest move of his career.
Zirkzee received a congratulatory message from Bologna, plus several teammates from club and country.
Among them was Dutch international midfielder Xavi Simons, who The Sun claim is a surprise transfer target for Manchester United this summer.
Simons responded to Zirkzee’s Instagram message on his big transfer, leaving three heart emojis.
Another player linked to United, Bologna’s Dan Ndoye, also reached out to congratulate Zirkzee.

Zirkzee first of many
Joshua Zirkzee is the first Manchester United signing of summer 2024, and is expected to be the first of many.
United need signings in defence and midfield, and there could even be another striker signing too if the right opportunity presents itself.
Ineos struck a smart deal for Zirkzee, addressing a position where the team needed to strengthen, and paying a very reasonable amount to do so.
By the end of the summer window, we could even see his Dutch teammate lining up alongside Zirkzee. Erik ten Hag is a big fan of Xavi Simons, while Matthijs de Ligt is expected to join too.
