Manchester United have completed the deal to sign Joshua Zirkzee from Serie A side Bologna.
Joshua Zirkzee is the first signing of the Ineos era, with the forward’s transfer to Manchester United now confirmed.
Zirkzee, 23, joins after a successful season at Bologna, where he helped the Italian side qualify for the Champions League.
This was not enough to keep him put, with Manchester United convincing Zirkzee to join.

Joshua Zirkzee deal done
Joshua Zirkzee is the 17th most expensive Manchester United transfer of all time.
He strengthens Manchester United’s options up front following Anthony Martial’s exit after his contract expired.
Zirkzee can lead the line, and also play deeper, alongside Rasmus Hojlund. United could yet add another striker too.
The Netherlands international was pictured signing his contract, with sporting director Dan Ashworth hailing his ‘world class’ potential.
Zirkzee said talks with Erik ten Hag helped him make up his mind to sign for Manchester United.
Zirkzee and Bologna say farewell
Serie A side Bologna penned a grateful farewell message to Joshua Zirkzee after his transfer move was announced.
The message on Instagram read: “Thanks Joshua and good luck with your career: we will never forget these emotions.”
Zirkzee wrote a lengthier message of goodbye to the Italian club to express his gratitude for his time there.
He wrote: “Grazie, rossoblu. I can’t really find the words to explain how much you all mean to me. The stadium, the city, this team, but especially the PEOPLE will for always have a special place in my heart.
“I hope, that for all the support and trust that you gave me, i have given something back in return. Bologna is finally where it belongs and i will support and cheer for you from a distance! Ti Amo, Bolo. Forever.”
