Manchester United’s final home game of the season comes this weekend, and for some, it might end up being the final time they are at Old Trafford for a game.
Michael Carrick is set to become Manchester United head coach as he prepares to lead the club back to the Champions League.
United need a point to secure third place in the Premier League and everything is looking up at the club, for the first time in three years.
However, there are players at the club now who are unlikely to be here for next season’s potential successes. Here are six either likely or absolutely set for their final Old Trafford appearance.

What is your message to Casemiro ahead of his final home game at Old Trafford?
Do you think it will be a scoring farewell for Casemiro?
Casemiro
Having announced his exit in January, Casemiro will bid farewell to United on Sunday, what is sure to be an emotional goodbye given his cult hero status.
Fans have done their best to convince Casemiro to change his mind, but the Brazilian reemphasised to Rio Ferdinand his desire to leave while on top.
Casemiro will be a big loss for United, and Old Trafford is sure to make its feelings clear on him come full-time on Sunday.
Tyrell Malacia
Following Casemiro out the door is Tyrell Malacia, who sees his contract expire after three seasons ridden with injury and minimal appearances.
Malacia has been woeful on his limited chances, with Carrick only giving him once chance and saw enough.
£75,000-a-week over the past three years to play maybe twice a season. Thankfully, his contract was only four years and he is going to be released.
Tom Heaton
Another player with his contract expiring this summer is Tom Heaton, and as of right now he is scheduled to be released.
Heaton however is in contract talks to remain, with his importance to the squad being highlighted by Senne Lammens and Casemiro in recent months.
Heaton is 40 and hasn’t played a competitive game for three years, yet despite this a new contract feels likely, his leadership is the best thing we could ask for in a third choice goalkeeper.
Should Manchester United be extending Tom Heaton’s contract?
The goalkeeper will be 40 by the end of this season…
Manuel Ugarte
Not set to be released, but for Manuel Ugarte this weekend could be his swansong at Old Trafford anyway, with his sale this summer looking increasingly likely.
Ugarte’s agent is already talking to clubs ahead of a possible transfer this summer with several clubs being credited with interest.
The Uruguayan has proven himself not good enough for United, but a sale should see a healthy amount recouped for the Red Devils, with a rumoured £24m transfer.
Altay Bayindir
Like Ugarte, this season feels like the end of the road for Altay Bayindir, with the Turkish international unable to prove himself worthy of the United shirt.
Reportedly, Bayindir’s move is already somewhat agreed with a return to the Turkish Super Lig expected.
United will be keen to see Radek Vitek take over this role and the job of being cup goalkeeper, and so Bayindir has to go. He won’t bring in much, but every little helps in funding this summer’s spending.
Joshua Zirkzee
Another player who could see this Sunday as his final appearance at Old Trafford for United is Joshua Zirkzee, who likely sealed his fate with his performance against Sunderland.
Zirkzee is failing Omar Berrada’s two year rule and so this summer it is probably best for him and United that ties are severed.
Already there has been interest in Zirkzee from Italy, with Napoli, Juventus and others having wanted to sign him for over a year. His exit seems likely.
