Tyler Fredricson deserved so much more from his brilliant Manchester United debut against Wolves.

After beating Lyon, Ruben Amorim promised academy kids will play in the remaining Premier League matches.

He kept to his word at Old Trafford on Sunday, with centre-back Tyler Fredrcison given his first senior start against Wolves.

United suffered a 1-0 defeat to Wolves on the day, but Fredricson starred on his debut and did more than enough to keep his spot in the side for the upcoming trip to Bournemouth.

Fredricson won 12 duels against Wolves as he coped brilliantly with the physical challenge of facing Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Tyler Fredricson must start for Man United vs Bournemouth

United were hammered by Bournemouth in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford this season, so Amorim will want to see an improvement on Sunday afternoon.

With Matthijs de Ligt out injured and Ayden Heaven still recovering, Amorim should rely on Fredricson at the Vitality Stadium.

He didn’t put a foot wrong against Wolves so deserves to be rewarded with more minutes.
