England’s players were in high spirits after beating Germany 2-0 at Wembley.

Marcus Rashford accidentally gave an insight into the revelry after ‘announcing’ Jadon Sancho’s transfer to Manchester United via his twitter account.

This morning Rashford is claiming he was hacked. Sure, we believe you Marcus.

Rashford deleted his reply message from last night which ‘confirmed’ the deal.

We saw this coming which is why we grabbed a screenshot of it while it was up.

Rashford’s story doesn’t really stack up of course, and there is one question remaining… who was the mystery hacker?

If we had to guess, none other than England teammate Jadon Sancho himself.

Perhaps Harry Maguire or Luke Shaw? Or more likely it was Rashford all along and he is just saving face.

We would bet Rashford had a few frantic early phone calls from United.

Sancho’s transfer is no secret. We all know it is happening pending final confirmation. Rashford’s message might even prompt the clubs into ending the charade and hurrying up an official announcement.
