Responding to a supporter on Twitter who asked him to ‘announce Sancho’, Rashford responded with a simple ‘yes’.

Just in case Rashford ends up deleting his tweet, we took a screenshot too.

What’s going on?

England’s squad are currently celebrating victory in the Euro 2020 last 16 against Germany. It’s quite possible Rashford has got a bit carried away(!) Either that or one of his England teammates has his phone and is causing mischief.

Or at this stage perhaps he feels there is just no point in keeping up the charade and pretence – we all know Sancho is coming to United anyway.

It very much seems like a deal is done and will be announced formally after Euro 2020. The latest report from German outlet Sport1 said the deal was ‘nearing completion’.

Rashford may have just ruined the big reveal – not that we are complaining at all.

Fabrizio Romano followed up Rashford’s tweet, with a message of his own.

This deal is getting done, there is no holding it back. Sancho has taken matters into his own hands, and we are all thankful for it.
