Manchester United have now recouped the full initial transfer fee paid for Cristiano Ronaldo through shirt sales.
United have earned £13.1 million in commission from Ronaldo replica shirts since the kits went on sale a week ago.
This is more than the initial £12.9 million paid out to Juventus for the superstar’s signature.

Total proceeds from shirt sales has reached £187 million, with the majority going to kit manufacturers Adidas.
The figures have been provided by industry analysts LoveTheSales.com.
More than Messi
The numbers raised by United eclipse the earnings PSG have made from signing Lionel Messi so far.
PSG have made just £7.3 million from Messi shirt sales, with total earnings at £103.8 million.
Almost twice as many ‘Ronaldo 7’ shirts have been bought this summer, compared to ‘Messi 30’ PSG shirts.

Ronaldo is yet to play a game for United since returning, which makes the figures even more staggering.
Ronaldo’s debut will take place on Saturday in front of a packed Old Trafford, and visitors to the megastore will no doubt spend a small fortune on yet more Ronaldo 7 shirts.
The 36-year-old is capable of living up to the hype. As the international and Champions League record goalscorer, Ronaldo has achieved nearly everything in football and is still hungry for more.
Already a hero at United due to his successful spell from 2003 to 2009, Ronaldo is looking to repeat his success and write his name further into Old Trafford history.
