Crysencio Summerville has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the past week, and his World Cup performances will only strengthen this interest.
It was first claimed by The Athletic that Manchester United were considering a move for Crysencio Summerville, this coming out after he scored in the Netherlands’ World Cup opener against Japan.
The West Ham winger is valued at £50m, prompting talk of United making a £130m double swoop for him plus Mateus Fernandes.
Summerville and Fernandes would bring their tight connection to Old Trafford if a deal was done, although United aren’t keen on the price being demanded for either. But any doubt should slowly be fading amid Summerville’s breakout World Cup campaign.
Crysencio Summerville has been linked to Man Utd – Would you like to see us sign him? What is he worth?

Crysencio Summerville shines with goal and assist for Netherlands
If anyone wasn’t sold on the idea of Summerville, his performances for the Netherlands just prove that, in a good, progressive, and attacking side, he would be a sensational forward option.
After scoring against Japan, Summerville was on the bench against Sweden, but he didn’t let that affect him.
Summerville came off the bench for Ronald Koeman’s side and made his impact felt with a goal and an assist.
His assist was the stuff of dreams for a striker like Benjamin Sesko, a ball driven across the face of the goal that was impossible to miss.
While his goal came on the counterattack, simply placing it into the bottom corner from the edge of the area with real quality.
It was a cameo that oozed class from Summerville and one that highlighted what he could be for United.

Summerville shows Manchester United he is worth the £50m
While United should be able to sign Summerville for less than the £50m reported, this performance proved he can be worth the higher end of the price tag.
Summerville can score or assist, but most importantly, he would be an impact player off the bench for United on either flank, capable of changing a game.
United don’t currently have a player like Summerville as an option on the left, a technical, quick, creative, goalscoring winger.
So it seems like a no-brainer to sign him as part of the likely Fernandes deal, just hopefully for less than £50m, even though that wouldn’t be a bad deal.
