How much Jadon Sancho has earned from Man Utd wages since Erik ten Hag bust-up as January exit looms

Jadon Sancho has been out of the frame for some time now for Manchester United.

On the 14th of September 2023, Manchester United issued a statement on Jadon Sancho stating that will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group, pending resolution of a squad discipline issue.

This came after a ‘bust-up‘ with Erik ten Hag after the Arsenal fixture, to where the Dutch coach and the winger disagreed as to why he was left out of the squad – which led to a social media post from Sancho.

Since the statement was issued, the club have commented no further on the 23-year-old. Now with January looming – it looks like Sancho is on his way out.

Jadon Sancho looks set to leave Manchester United in January

The winger looks destined to be out of Old Trafford in January.

Multiple reports have indicated that German sides are interested in his signature, with Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig two potential suitors.

Saudi speculation has also started, along with rumours of huge European sides like Barcelona, which are at this time – just rumours.

There is even the scenario, the worst case of course, that United could explore terminating Sancho’s contract. It looks destined that Arsenal was his last game in red.

How much has Jadon Sancho earned since his dismissal?

The day of the Arsenal fixture and bust-up was the 3rd of September 2023, which means as of the 28th of December 2023 – he has been out for exactly 116 days.

This means Sancho has earned just about 16 and a half weeks’ wages, which equates to as of today: £5,775,000.

These figures are pre-tax, so his final take-home figure will be less – but you get the gist.

Sancho’s dismissal from first-team training has essentially meant he’s free to do what he wants, which has left many fans puzzled considering his hefty £350,000 p/w wage going to waste.

Jadon Sancho’s time at Manchester United has been a miserable one – but at least he’s leaving with his pockets full.
