Despite being signed in July, Leny Yoro is yet to make his professional debut for Manchester United – although this could soon change.
Excitement was at fever pitch when Manchester United announced that a deal for Leny Yoro had been completed, costing an initial £52m from Lille.
The 18-year-old generational defender is seen as the Kylian Mbappe of centre-backs which explains just how good a player United have on the cards – with Erik ten Hag already praising his impact in the dressing room.
However, after just 80 minutes of pre-season action, Yoro has been on the injury table – where he has remained ever since, almost three months on and he is finally nearing a return.
The prospect of Yoro returning has left his Manchester United teammates excited.

Bruno Fernandes sends Manchester United No.15 a message
After almost three months on the sidelines, Yoro is finally back training at Carrington – albeit this is currently on an individual schedule as he builds up fitness.
The teenager took to Instagram after this was announced, sharing a video of his training – and adding a countdown sand timer emoji.
An exciting message after he has missed so long, and now his captain has responded.
Bruno Fernandes is yet to play a game with Yoro since his move to Old Trafford and yet the pair have already forged a strong relationship.
This could be seen in Bruno’s message to Yoro after the Frenchman’s injury and now he has shared a message showcasing his excitement to see the centre-back returning.
“Almost there kid”, the United captain wrote with a heart eyes emoji accompanying it.
Rio Ferdinand also commented, writing: “Boooom! Leny Lil Bro – keep working hard”.
Upon his return to action, Yoro will likely be in a backline alongside Diogo Dalot and the Portugal international was also in the comments with two fire emojis.
When will Leny Yoro make his Manchester United debut?
Fans have been dying to see Yoro in action and to learn the true reason United saw him as a huge addition.
This explains why seeing him on the grass at Carrington has left everyone excited – but when exactly could he be playing a game?
Well as he is yet to take part in full training – as United are refusing to rush his return – chances are his debut is weeks away at the earliest.
Yoro was reportedly targeting a return against Arsenal – the club he suffered his injury against, completing a full-circle moment.
This would be December 3rd, which is a long way from now and we would hope he doesn’t have to wait this long for his debut, with November being the favourable time for fans.
