Brandon Williams has sealed a season long loan move to Norwich City.

The Manchester United defender did not feature in United’s opening two games of the season.

Williams says he is looking forward to his new challenge at Carrow Road.

Norwich have had a tough start to the season, losing against Liverpool and then Manchester City.

Williams will hope to go straight into their starting XI, and could get a chance in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night against Bournemouth.

Norwich have another tough league game this coming weekend against Leicester City.

Williams, 20, made 11 Premier League starts in 2019/20 but only two in 2020/21.

Speaking to Norwich’s website, Williams said: ““It’s a massive club and I like the way they play. I’ve watched them over the years and seen how they play.

“The club like to play out from the back and play football. That really inspired me to come here, and I think that the head coach can really improve me as a player.

“Everyone has been so welcoming. I’ve really enjoyed my time here already and I can’t wait to meet everybody. I’ve just got a feeling it’ll be a good year.”
