Manchester United’s fate in the Europa League will be settled on Thursday night in Romania.
With seven games in Europe played this season, the final league phase match of the Europa League still poses plenty of jeopardy.
Manchester United goes into the final match-day fourth in the league table, needing just one point against FCSB to secure a top-eight finish and progress straight to the round of 16.

After the drama-filled final Champions League match-day on Wednesday, we are expecting nothing different on Thursday with FCSB themselves in the running for a top-eight finish.
United will be confident after beating Rangers last week. This win was followed by United’s win over Fulham.
Given the importance of the game, we are fully expecting a strong team to be named.

How Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United XI vs FCSB could look
Amorim has spoken about how tough the Europa League is to win, and with the Premier League season looking likely to result in mid-table obscurity, cup competitions offer a chance for success.
The good news for Amorim is his squad for this crucial clash is fully fit barring Mason Mount and Jonny Evans. This is the case as Luke Shaw returned to United training on Wednesday.
However, the Englishman was not in United’s 21-man travelling squad. So based on the team Amorim has taken to Bucharest, here is how we predict the team to look.
In goal, the recent performances of Bayindir are deserving of the start. He has established himself as the cup keeper and that will continue here.
Giving Leny Yoro a rest, Mazraoui could step back into the right of the back three. We are likely to see him deployed here more often with Patrick Dorgu filling the left wing-back role.
In the centre of the back three, we have De Ligt starting to give Harry Maguire the night off.
Martinez has been in excellent form recently, and we imagine he will start here. Although the arrival of Ayden Heaven cannot come soon enough to give him some back-up.
On the right, Amad’s attacking qualities make him a better choice than the likes of Diogo Dalot. So in a bid to be attacking, we imagine he starts.
Collyer is quickly becoming key for Amorim and we expect he will be in the starting line-up again here. Especially after what Amorim said about Casemiro.
Partnering with Collyer, captain Fernandes will look to showcase his ‘world-class’ ability and lead his team to a top-eight finish. He’s rarely dropped, so chances are he will play this role again.
On the left, in possibly the last chance for Malacia to impress before the arrival of Dorgu. Malacia is likely to be sent on loan, so a good performance here could help him secure that.
In the No.10 slots, we have Mainoo starting. It is a role fans have long considered he would shine in and after some good moments around the box at the weekend, Amorim could trial him here on Thursday night.
Despite looking likely to leave earlier this month, Garnacho seems set to stay at the club with Amorim making a point in his usage of the Argentine. So we imagine he starts once again here.
Neither of United’s two strikers have covered themselves in glory this season. But undoubtedly the best of the bad pair right now is Zirkzee. We only wonder how long Amorim will resist promoting Chido Obi.
