Ruben Amorim has announced the Manchester United squad who will travel to face Romanian side FCSB in the Europa League.
The Red Devils will finish the group stage of their Europa League campaign on Thursday evening when they face FCSB. All matches in the tournament kick-off at 8pm as clubs decide who will reach the next stage.
As per the new Europa League format, those who finish inside the top eight will automatically qualify for the round of 16. Places 9-24 play a knock-out game to decide the other eight sides.
Manchester United currently sit fourth in the Europa League table after Bruno Fernandes’ late winner against Rangers secured an important three points.
United boss Ruben Amorim has now confirmed the 21 players who are travelling to Romania for the clash, and the Portuguese head coach has made a bold decision on Marcus Rashford.

Man United’s 21-man squad for Europa League FCSB clash
United trained at Carrington on Wednesday ahead of their trip to Romania and Luke Shaw returned from his injury to be involved in the session.
However, there was no space for the 29-year-old in Amorim’s travelling squad. Likewise, Rashford has also been left out.
Here are the 21 players who will travel to face FCSB in the Europa League:
Goalkeepers: Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Andre Onana
Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro
Midfielders: Casemiro, Toby Collyer, Christian Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte
Forwards: Amad, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund, Joshua Zirkzee
Man United must focus on Europa League this season
A turbulent first half of the season has left United slumped down in 12th in the Premier League table – already 12 points outside the top four.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 12 | 23 | 8 | 5 | 10 | 28 | 32 | -4 | 29 |
If United plan on returning to the Champions League, winning the Europa League now looks like our best route back to the prestigious tournament.

Andre Onana is targeting Europa League glory this season, and a win on Thursday would save United from playing an extra, unnecessary midweek game.
However, winning the competition will be no easy task. Amorim believes the Europa League is “much harder” than the Champions League because of the scheduling. United have had to play regularly on Thursdays and Sundays this season.
