Some Manchester United fans are getting very excited about Amad Traore Diallo
Amad Traore Diallo was Manchester United’s surprise signing on transfer deadline day.
United paid an initial £19 million to sign Traore, with a further £18 million payable in add-ons dependent on his success, BBC Sport report.
Traore cannot join until January, due to the club requiring a work permit to sign him.
While this highlights poor planning from United, beginning negotiations too late to get everything tied up before the October 5 deadline, that can’t take away from just how special a talent Traore is.
RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
Supporters getting excited
Traore was not a household name before the transfer window, and he was not the winger United fans expected to be welcoming.
But the teenager deserves to be judged on his own merits.
Traore Diallo has already made his debut for Atalanta and is just 18.
He is a right winger who is left footed and he is an instinctive dribbler who makes quick decisions and takes the game to the opposition.
The youngster has inventiveness and bravery on the ball which United’s players have often lacked in the final third.
Even if it takes a couple of years or so for Traore Diallo to reach his potential, the wait will be worth it.
Supporters have spent the last 24 hours checking out YouTube compilations of Traore in action for Atalanta’s first team and the under-19s.
Some of the reaction has an element of over-excitement, but it shows just how highly supporters think of the limited clips of Traore which have been put together…
