Not only was Carrington graduate Tyler Fletcher called up by Steve Clarke, but Scotland’s talisman is also a United graduate in the shape of Scott McTominay.
McTominay impressed against Haiti as Scotland recorded their first win of the tournament. The 29-year-old has become a megastar because of his form at Napoli, and discussions over his club future are taking place during the tournament.

When United sold McTominay for £25 million to Napoli, the Scottish midfielder signed a contract in Italy until 2028.
Because of McTominay’s MVP-winning season and his incredible growth under Antonio Conte, Napoli are unsurprisingly looking to tie him down with a new deal.
According to Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport, McTominay is back in contract negotiations with Napoli after first holding discussions about a new deal in May.
They claim Napoli director Manna and the player’s agent Colin Murdock are ironing out details while McTominay is in the United States with the Scotland camp.

Details of Scott McTominay’s contract offer
According to The Express, McTominay earns around £90,000 per week on his current Napoli deal.
But he is in line for a pay rise in Naples to reflect his importance in their squad.
The Italian report from above claims a contract until 2030 is on the table for McTominay, with an option to extend until 2031.

That would run until he is 33 years old if McTominay agrees.
There have been tentative transfer links for McTominay since his move, but he seems settled and happy at Napoli.
