Manchester United lived on the edge against Wolves and went on to win 1-0.

Wolves were the better team for much of the game, with United going on to grab a late winner via Mason Greenwood.

No situation was quite as dangerous as the sixth minute chance which fell to Wolves’ on loan Barcelona winger Trinacao.

He placed a shot which beat David de Gea, and instead of the net bulging, Aaron Wan-Bissaka slid in to save the day.

It was an outrageously good piece of defending, with Wan-Bissaka seeing the danger and acting to stop it.

This helped United falling behind early and once again outlined Wan-Bissaka’s defensive credentials.

Nicknamed ‘the spider’ for the way he is able to produce a tackle or block out nowhere with his outstretched legs, this was one of his finest individual defensive moments in a United shirt.

It was not an easy afternoon for Wan-Bissaka with Adama Traore a constant threat and United’s midfield often second best.

This moment showed his quality, and it was for high calibre defensive traits like that United paid £50 million to sign him two summers ago.

Wan-Bissaka was also on hand to clear after a fantastic double save from David de Gea in the second half.

United got away with the three points here, and have both De Gea and Wan-Bissaka to thank.
