Following a summer of youth recruitment, Ineos is closing in on another top prospect addition for Manchester United.
Ineos prioritised signing high-potential, young players in their opening transfer window, building a strong youth spine at the club.
Leny Yoro was the most shining example of this in a £52m move from Lille as Manchester United beat Real Madrid to the generational defender.
Chido Obi-Martin was another to join and has already been impressive as he has been tipped to be fast-tracked by Ruben Amorim.
Finally, Sekou Kone has been solid in limited minutes since his arrival and looks an exciting prospect following his £1m move to Manchester United.

Sverre Nypan to Manchester United latest
After strong additions in the summer, Dan Ashworth looks likely to add another talented youngster with Chris Rigg and Franco Mastantuono both linked.
However, the most likely option is Norwegian teenager Sverre Nypan, a United target for over a year.
As Nypan turns 18 in December, it is widely expected United will try to sign him in 2025.
Now, according to journalist Dean Jones and Give Me Sport, the race to sign Nypan is being led by United.
Despite this, Nypan is still carefully reviewing his options with widespread interest across Europe. One demand Nypan will be making of the club who sign him is regular game time – which he could get under Amorim.
TBR has previously reported that Nypan is expected to cost around £10m up front, rising to £20m – an amount which could look cheap if he becomes the player he promises to be, with comparisons already to Martin Odegaard.
How Nypan has fared during 2024 will have Ineos excited
While unlikely to be an immediate starter for United, Nypan’s 2024 form proves he is ready for increased challenges.
In 26 Eliteserien games (23 starts) this season, he has seven goals and seven assists which is an impressive return for a central midfielder.
- 1,947 minutes
- 35 chances created
- 11 crosses
- 37 successful dribbles
- 28 tackles
- 138 duels won
Nypan has an average match rating of 7.4 on FotMob which showcases the consistency he has performed with this season.
If signed, we would expect Nypan to replace Christian Eriksen in the squad and likely be an option to use in rotation with Kobbie Mainoo.
Another possibly elite signing for Ineos if they manage to get the deal done.
