It isn’t often the January transfer produces so many stories, but Manchester United are braced for a frantic final week.

Ruben Amorim continues to be linked with several players, but before the United manager can bring new faces in, he must first bid farewell to some.

Ahead of what is shaping up to be an exciting race to Deadline Day, here are all the latest reports regarding possible incomings and outgoings.

Antony seals Real Betis loan

Antony is joining Real Betis on loan and will become the first player to leave Old Trafford this window.

The Brazilian will spend the rest of the campaign in La Liga with Betis agreeing to cover most of his £200,000-a-week wages. There is no buy clause included in the winger’s transfer.

Alejandro Garnacho wants Premier League stay

Despite fans singing his name at Old Trafford on Thursday night, Alejandro Garnacho remains linked with Chelsea.

Although the Argentine’s preference is probably to continue at United, he is open to joining the Blues if it means staying in the Premier League.

Barcelona tell Marcus Rashford they can’t sign him

After turning AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund down, Marcus Rashford’s preference was to join Barcelona.

The forward is set to be disappointed, though. Hansi Flick’s side have informed Rashford’s camp they’re unable to sign him after failing to get rid of Eric Garcia and Ansu Fati.

United are linked with Dibling, who, should Garnacho move to Stamford Bridge, could become a late, but realistic, option.

Another Arsenal raid

After United signed Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal last year, the Red Devils are looking to launch another raid on their rivals.

United want Ayden Heaven — a defender — and one of the Gunners’ brightest youth talents. The Red Devils feel confident their recent enquiry will lead to a successful transfer.

Amorim wants Francisco Trincao reunion

Even though all the striker talk has been about Amorim being reunited with Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres, the Red Devils have been scouting one of the Swede’s teammates.

United sent scouts to watch Francisco Trincao in action in the Champions League against RB Leipzig earlier this week.

Although Sporting lost 2-1, Trincao was named Man of the Match and did his hopes of securing a dream transfer to Old Trafford no harm at all.
