Manchester United look set to sanction another departure on transfer deadline day with one young talent nearing an exit.
Manchester United fans were hoping for arrivals on transfer deadline day.
Another attacker was on the radar but the transfer deadline is now set to pass without a new forward being landed.
Mathys Tel is set to join Tottenham Hotspur despite United looking into signing the Bayern Munich talent.
United looked at Christopher Nkunku too but were some £25million away from Chelsea’s valuation.
That means there will be no new signing on deadline day for Ruben Amorim, but a couple of exits are imminent.

Manchester United talent set to leave
Tyrell Malacia is heading to PSV Eindhoven in a deal which will see the left back head on loan with the option of a permanent deal.
That isn’t the end of the outgoing business though with Ruben Curley poised to leave United.
The Stoke Sentinel report that Stoke City are now closing in on a late deal to sign Curley before the deadline.
Curley has been involved in senior training under Ruben Amorim but now looks set to depart Old Trafford.
The 19-year-old midfielder may well leave on a permanent basis, but you would expect United to have buy-back and sell-on clauses on Curley.
The move to Stoke will give Curley a first chance to play senior football and he will be playing under a former United striker in Mark Robins.
Leaving the United ranks for Stoke certainly worked out well for Ryan Shawcross and Curley will look to follow in his footsteps with the Potters.
Who is United talent Ruben Curley?
Curley hails from Manchester and has been coming up through the United youth ranks.
The midfielder has picked up a number of appearances for the United Under-18’s and Under-21’s, featuring in Premier League 2 this season.
There has been adversity along the way; Curley tore his ACL in 2022 and faced a long road back to action.
Curley returned in August 2023 and United have seemingly been impressed with his comeback.
United handed Curley a new contract in December but is now set to move on less than two months later as United continue to show a willingness to sell young players.
