This summer is getting off to a quick start for Manchester United with a few deals looking likely to be completed before the season is even concluded.
After the horrific season Manchester United have had, recruitment this summer was always going to be vital, and Ineos are already making moves.
Despite the work being done months ago, June will see the arrival of Diego Leon at United confirmed. The 18-year-old Paraguayan sat his medical earlier this year ahead of a move this summer.
Leon has been impressing for Cerro Porteno this season ahead of his transfer, and he is not the only player who looks likely to be through the doors on day one at Carrington.

One marquee signing for United looks set to be Matheus Cunha, with a deal expected to be reached very soon between the Red Devils and Wolves for the £62m move.
United are also closing in on signing a French wonderkid who is available for free this summer, with the deal looking to be imminent.

Enzo Kana-Biyik expected to sign Manchester United contract
The wait for United’s first signing of the summer is almost over, with Enzo Kana-Biyik now looking like the front-runner to follow Leon through the doors this summer as a talented youngster who the recruitment staff believe has high potential.
Now, it appears to be imminent, after what a French journalist for Le Parisien, Benjamin Quarez, reported on Wednesday.
Quarez broke the news of Kana-Biyik to United originally and has now claimed that the 18-year-old is due to arrive in Manchester on Wednesday to sign his contract with the club ahead of a summer move.
Kana-Biyik will arrive in June as a striker, likely on the fringes of the first team, similarly to Chido Obi right now. However, he is unlikely to remain there with United planning to send Kana-Biyik on loan to FC Lausanne-Sport, using the Ineos link, in order to give him first-team football for his development.
This is absolutely a deal with the future in mind.
Enzo Kana-Biyik will be a trailblazer within Manchester United’s recruitment
On the surface of things, United signing Kana-Biyik is not an incredibly exciting deal, as he is relatively unproven and unknown, which makes it a deal many are intrigued by.
But with similarities to Hugo Ekitike, Kana-Biyik is a natural goalscorer and just needs to be coached in order to see improvements.
The deal, however, is exciting due to the fact that it will be the first signing made with Ineos’ multi-club model in mind. Kana-Biyik, therefore, is a signing like no other for United under Ineos’ rule and could be the first of many to follow a similar path for Ineos.
This plan shares traits with what Chelsea has done regarding their signing of youth players and sending them on loan. If done in the right way, this plan could work to perfection, and United have the figures in place to do this correctly.
An exciting start to the summer transfer window has just gotten more exciting.
