Manchester United have moved extremely quickly to secure the signature of an exciting young prospect.
Since completing the takeover of Manchester United, Ineos have shifted the transfer strategy to avoid overspending on players.
Instead, Ineos have targeted young, up-and-coming talents who can develop into superstars. United poached Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven from Arsenal, while Sekou Kone arrived for £1m in the summer – all three look like future stars.
Approaching the summer window, United are in advanced talks for Enzo Kana-Biyik, an 18-year-old centre-forward.
Ineos have planned ahead for his arrival.

Ineos set to loan out Enzo Kana-Biyik after Man United deal
Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants United to sign the ‘next Mbappe’ and that is very much the aim with the Kana-Biyik deal.
Once a deal is finalised and Kana-Biyik arrives at Old Trafford, Ineos already have planned out how to maximise his development.
According to Le Parisien, Kana-Biyik is set to join United imminently but will be loaned out to FC Lausanne-Sport next season.
The Swiss Super League club are also owned by Ineos, and the United owners are keen to utilise their multi-club ownership.
Ineos hope the young forward can gain plenty of senior experience at the sister club before returning to Manchester and pushing for a spot in Ruben Amorim’s squad.
Ineos making use of multi-club ownership
Alongside Manchester United, Nice and FC Lausanne-Sport are also in Ineos’ ownership portfolio.
With United now as the mothership of the multi-club network, Ineos have previously used their connections to give academy players experience abroad.
Three United academy players joined FC Lausanne for a training week in October, joined by academy director Nick Cox.

FA Lausanne are planning to collaborate with United with further training exchanges, including potential matches between both sides’ academy teams.
Sending Kana-Biyik to a sister club will allow United to keep a close eye on his progress before making a decision about him returning to Manchester.
