So there really could be two or even three strikers signed to give Amorima a handful of options, and now Albacete forward, Christian Kofane, has emerged as a target.
It is according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo that United are among the suitors looking at Kofane.
The 18-year-old has scored five in his last six, fulfilling his promise and proving to be one of the sensations of the Spanish second division.
Due to his impressive breakout form, Kofane has drawn interest from a host of interested clubs, with United joined by Real Madrid and Barcelona, along with several others.

- Newcastle United
- Aston Villa
- Lille
- Monaco
- Real Betis
- Villarreal
Atletico have been tracking Kofane for years and have been impressed by his qualities and humble nature, pointing out he has a very level head.

Christian Kofane viewed as being the new Samuel Eto’o
The past few months have been incredible for Kofane, and in Africa, the Cameroonian youngster is seen as being the ‘new Samuel Eto’o’, which is among the highest of praise by Foot Africa.
Kofane shares traits with the legendary striker as he is powerful and strong, as he showed with his latest goal for Albacete, which was a thunderous header.
Kofane is brilliant on the ball for his size of 6ft 2in, standing in the 95th percentile for dribble success this season among his positional peers (72.7 per cent success).
