Manchester United have completed a deal for Matheus Cunha to kickstart the summer rebuild.

After the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, Manchester United fans were in dire need of some positive news and the arrival of Matheus Cunha is just that.

United approached Matheus Cunha after watching the 25-year-old impress for Wolves at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Since then, United have agreed a £62.5m deal for Cunha, with the Red Devils triggering the Brazilian’s release clause to bring him to Manchester.

Gary Neville praised the Cunha deal, suggesting he was a perfect fit for United and Ruben Amorim’s style of play. But Ineos are showing no signs of slowing down in the summer window, with more arrivals likely to be on the way.

Liam Delap

It is no secret that United are in desperate need of a striker. Rasmus Hojlund has gone backwards this season, and he has proved that he cannot be the first choice next season.

United have been linked with Viktor Gyokeres, but with no European football on the calendar next season it has become much harder to lure the Sporting Lisbon striker to Old Trafford.

Reports claim United are closing in on Liam Delap with a £30m release clause in his Ipswich Town contract after their relegation from the Premier League.

Delap would rather join United than Chelsea, so the Red Devils have a strong chance of landing the 22-year-old forward this summer.

Bryan Mbeumo

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that United want another No.10 after Cunha, with several forwards set to leave this summer.

Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho are all expected to leave permanently this summer which will deplete United’s attacking options.

Their sales will also raise significant funds to bring in a new No.10 and Bryan Mbeumo is being linked with United.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has admitted Mbeumo will leave this summer, but United will face competition from Premier League rivals to secure his signature.

Bryan Mbeumo could follow Cunha to Old Trafford this summer to set up a new exciting front line for 2025/26.

Jobe Bellingham

With Christian Eriksen set to leave this summer, United will need to reinforce their midfield options for the upcoming season.

Ineos have preferred to sign young and upcoming players since taking charge at Old Trafford, and that is the route they will likely follow with a midfield signing this summer.

After United missed out on Jude Bellingham, Ineos could make sure they don’t make the same mistake with Jobe Bellingham.

United can sign Bellingham for £25m after his impressive campaign with Sunderland this season.

Transfer expert Graeme Bailey has confirmed that Sunderland’s promotion shouldn’t impact Bellingham’s exit, meaning United can still swoop for the talented 19-year-old this summer.
