Manchester United may have missed out on Jude Bellingham but his brother Jobe Bellingham could be targeted this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that Manchester United nearly signed Jude Bellingham before his £30m move to Borussia Dortmund in 2020.
The England international was wanted by nearly every European giant after his incredible rise to fame at Birmingham City in the Championship. After he departed, Birmingham retired Bellingham’s No.22 shirt.
Bellingham has since grown to become a global superstar, now at Real Madrid and finishing third in the Ballon d’Or race.
His brother, Jobe Bellingham is wanted by United this summer after his incredible season with Sunderland in the Championship.

Jobe Bellingham follows in footsteps of Jude Bellingham
While Jude is now competing for individual awards such as the Ballon d’Or, one of his first major individual achievements was being named the Championship Young Player of the Year in 2020.
Five years later, his brother has now followed in his footsteps.
In the latest edition of the EFL awards, Jobe Bellingham was named the 2025 Championship Young Player of the Year.
He beat Burnley’s CJ Egan-Riley and Sheffield Wednesday’s Shea Charles to the award, adding his name to a prestigious list of winners.
Bellingham was also named in the 2025 Championship Team of the Season alongside former United winger Dan James.
Latest update on Man United interest in Jobe Bellingham
With Christian Eriksen likely to leave this summer and Casemiro linked to Saudi Arabia, Ineos could find themselves needing to sign a new central midfielder this season.
As per Ineos’ transfer strategy at United, they will look to target a young and exciting player such as Bellingham.
It is expected that Bellingham will cost less than £30m this summer with Sunderland braced to lose the 19-year-old amid plenty of Premier League interest.
United could target Chris Rigg alongside Bellingham to complete a double raid of Sunderland’s midfielders this summer.
Bellingham rejected leaving Sunderland in the January window, but a summer exit appears increasingly likely.
