Manchester United are looking to poach Arsenal’s biggest talent this summer, now the Gunners have dropped a hint over his future.
This summer has already seen multiple talented youngsters arrive through the doors at Carrington, but the best may be yet to come in the form of Chido Obi-Martin.
Arsenal’s red-hot 16-year-old has interest from Europe’s elite as he looks to trade in his place at Arsenal for a new club.
Manchester United are thought to be at the front of the queue in a move which could leave the club’s academy unbeatable next season.
Now though, the Dane’s current club has dropped a hint about his future and it spells excellent news for the Red Devils.

Arsenal drop Chido Obi hint
As the rumours around Chido Obi and his possible move to Old Trafford continue to heat up, now Arsenal have dropped a huge hint that he’ll be departing this summer.
On Tuesday, the Gunners announced which academy players have signed scholarship deals with the club. In the list, there was one glaring exemption in the form of the 32-goal striker, Chido Obi.
This is the biggest hint yet that the Danish forward will be departing this summer and only adds fuel to the fire which suggests that United want to sign the teenager quickly.
A decision is imminent from the wonderkid, and United are pushing to sign him. It’s a deal which could be a phenomenal coup from Ineos and yet another statement signing.
What does Chido Obi’s possible arrival mean for United?
Signing a player like Chido Obi is a huge statement for United considering how sought after he was. A visit to Carrington appears to have done the job though and now we expect he’ll be joining United.
This will see him arrive and likely slot straight into the U18 side to begin with, but if he brings his talent and form to Manchester, he’ll quickly be promoted to U21 and then perhaps even first-team minutes at some point next season.
With Joshua Zirkzee and his hero Rasmus Hojlund ahead of him in the pecking order, first-team minutes will be hard to come by, but if he’s as talented as he promises to be, he’ll have no problems.
It does spell bad news for Ethan Wheatley would may find himself stepped over and therefore United needs to find him a loan this coming season.
